The cable car is the fastest way up — and the most weather-dependent. Timing matters.

Table Mountain's tablecloth doesn't consult your itinerary. On the Cape Town Icon Series we monitor wind and visibility from the morning and adjust: early cable car when the forecast is clear, or a lower-mountain circuit when it's not.\n\nSummer: first car or late afternoon. Winter: mid-morning often clears. Your guide checks the live webcam before you leave the hotel.\n\nTickets are included on our Icon Series day — no queueing at the kiosk.
