Cape Winelands
Harvest Season in Stellenbosch
1 May 2026
The tourists have thinned. The vines are turning amber. And the estates are pouring their best — just for you.
Autumn in Stellenbosch is when the Winelands exhales. Harvest crews move through the rows, cellars hum with activity, and the light over the Simonsberg turns everything copper.\n\nOn our Stellenbosch & Vineyards tour we time the day so you're not queuing at the obvious estates. A morning stroll through the historic centre, then three to four hand-picked estates as the oak shadows lengthen.\n\nIf you're travelling in March or April, ask us about harvest-specific stops — some estates open their crush pads to small groups by appointment.
